We love hearing what our students like about their school!

Congratulations to Megan Pinkerton and Hallie Grigg! They competed in the FCCLA State competition last week. They won silver medals and will be going to Nationals in San Diego!

Parents and Families,
In recent weeks, we have been made aware of certain social media professing to be a platform for anonymous confessions from our school. While we can’t control social media or individuals’ use of it, we recognize how important it is to be aware of it and actively work to help our youth make healthy, productive use of technology. Some of the content there can be disturbing and hurtful.
While LHS staff is working diligently to provide a safe educational environment for our students, we ask that families please take an active role in monitoring your children’s social media posts and content. Many of you already do a great job of this. One thing you can do in the case of malicious or unkind content is to unfollow the person or page and report it to the social media platform for content that is considered to be harassing or misinformation.
This recent development has had a significant impact on some students’ ability to focus on learning. We are committed to working together to help mitigate what has become a very real distraction from what is most important.

LHS couldn't be prouder! Glenn Ricker won the OSAA State Championship title in the 100 Fly. Glenn also earned second place in the 100 Breaststroke and Zane Ricker won second place in the 500 Free. Go Tigers!

Please mark your calendars for the LHS Musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" this week. The dates are March 10, 11, and 12. Doors open at 6:30 pm with performances starting at 7:pm. Admission is $5.00 per person. An eclectic group of six elementary school adolescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. A riotous ride, complete with audience participation, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful den of comedic genius. Staring: Ian Callif Mimi Smith Morgan Fields Ryley Howard Kaylie Davis Jill Moran Weston Durfee Eliza Durfee Mr. Justice Mr. Durfee Cameo by Chris Leavitt

Boys basketball tonight vs Banks HS starts at 5:00 pm. Admission prices are $8 for adults and $6 for students. NO PASSES ARE ALLOWED.
