
Special Education Day is celebrated on December 2nd, to commemorate the signing and implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Thanks to this decision, students with varying levels of needs can be supported in their education.

K-8 LVLA September Assembly is Tuesday the 24th from 2:00-3:30. The intention of these assemblies will be to get students interacting with other students, recognizing student success and having a STEM activity led by Donna Rainboth from EOU. This first assembly stem activity will be to build rockets and test-fly them!
Please let Megan know (megan.banes@lagrandesd.org) if you plan to attend the assembly so that we can have the necessary STEM supplies. Continue to check your email for more updates.

Our fall Red Cross blood drive will be Thursday, October 17th, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at La Grande High School. Please consider giving the gift of life. You will need to park in the staff parking lot at La Grande High School and enter through the main entrance.
